A pork bone based soup served with soft rice noodles, topped with slices of pork belly, liver, intestines, quail eggs, prawns and salad herbs including bean shoots, coriander and edible chrysanthemum. A South Vietnamese favourite and possibly has it's roots with the Khmer or Cham peoples that occupied the south of Vietnam and Cambodia
